• Born 23 December 1841, son of Rev. Henry Moule (1801-1880).
• Full name 'Handley Carr Glyn Moule'.
• A good friend and colleague of Rev. John Barton of Cambridge (1836-1908).
• Married, on 16 August 1881, John's sister-in-law Mary Elliott (b.1844).
• Became Bishop of Durham (1901-1920), from whence he followed tradition by signing his name 'H. Dunelm' (the Latin for Durham).
